Original 1976 tool kit value
Hello, I've been offered a tool kit from a 1976 911, it is in "as new" condition, the case is in great shape and clean, all the tools are there, clean and rust free, it even has the original belt with the Porsche logo on it.
What is fair market value for this item. Regards Peter |

Hello
OK in germany Porsche sales the 911 SC tool kit for 200€. Depending on the engine version you only have to change the tools for the alternator ( thats some 30 € ) and the extra sparkplug. Over the years the tools changed a bit and the newer versions have more tools in the bin over the early versions. Since 76 Porsche used the same Pocket type up to 89. 74-75 where square basket wave material. Those pokets are NLA but you still can buy the raw material at 130€ the runing meter ( thats 1,4 x 1m good enough for maybe 6-8 units ) So what is a fair price/marked value ? The pocket belongs to the tool correct car to see a value over a new tool set. Grüsse Last edited by Roland Kunz; 08-24-2002 at 09:25 AM.. |
