As you can see I asked him that, and got no reply, it sure would be a great thing to know!

I wondered if/when someone was going to ask that question. Got lots of e-mail about it. Guess everyone was afraid to ask on line. Ha!

Fuchs boltpattern is 5 x 130mm
GM boltpattern is 5 x 4.75in

Mounting was done via custom made adapters. Real works of art. I sent my picture disc back because all the pics were 1/3 cut off, so I don't have one to show you all.

The thread died before my repacement disc came in. Here is a picture of the mounted adapter. I'm really happy with the look and the wheels. Porsche nuts get a big kick out of it as well.

Oh yeah! I see it now. Thanks Crochety- (By the way- nice car!)

At that time, I was in the market for a set of rims, but I just got a set in from a fellow Pelicanhead- cookie cutters that look fantastic on my car.

Rarly,

How much trouble was it to have the adapters made and what was the ballpark cost? The workmanship looks very nice on the adapters...

I have something that uses the GM bolt pattern and thats an idea for wheels!

Adapting Porsche wheels to a GM bolt pattern is ass-backwards at best.
It was done because I like my vehicles to be unique in some way, Fuchs are cool, and 911s are a passion of mine.

It would be FAR more cost effective to adapt your 911 to a GM pattern. Just think of the options in cheap wheels you would have!!!!

The adapters were made by a fellow in California (Wheel-A-Dapters). Cost was (gulp) $80 each shipped.
