What year is this gauge pls?
Guys,
Picked up temp/fuel gauge.... Clearly something has happened to the fuel gauge at some point as I'm not sure that the needle should be where it is and it's also bent.... Still, that aside, there is no month/year stamp on the back, so any ideas? Also, there are clearly 3 tell tale lights on it. Am I right in thinking one if for the alternator, one for oil pressure and one for showing the lights are on? Thanks guys, Ben

Ben,
This is a very early 912 combi gauge from '65 or '66. It was used in the 3 gauge dash of the day. It may be of interest to the 912 Register gang if you want to sell. HTH, Dennis. ![]()

Hmmmmm, that's interesting then.
If it's very early (and desireable?), then perhaps my buggy isn't the best place for it. Would rather use a part that isn't perhaps early or desirable?
