Tool - window lifter
Does anyone know what and when this tool is used for? Came with my 88 911 Cab. Thanks, just curious. Glenn

When the door window motor doesn't work, you remove the tweeter from the door panel, poke the vapor barrier, and there is the motor's axle, with a hex hole in it. You must have a crank in your toolkit to turn the motor to close/open the window. That is, unless someone changed the window motor for an older version that had no hex hole in its shaft (don'task me how I know...).
