Changing cams

I'm THINKING (uh,oh) of replacing the cams in my car, What is the easiest way to do this. I know all about what else has to be done, stacks heads, etc. But, if I just wanted to replace the cams only, what is the fastest way. I know I would have to drop the engine to get to the mfi belt. Can I just remove the chain tensioners, loosen up all the rockers and slide them out? I know there is more to do. I just can't remember how I did it 9yrs ago.
I'm thinking of going to s cams-maybe. My car just isn't fast enough for me anymore. Fun to drive, but I want more!
Have a happy labor day all...

You need to remove the rocker arms to get the cams out.
