Electrical Connector Broken in Trunk
I lifted the hinged cover on the floor of my trunk. It rubbed against a black-plastic wiring connector to a fan (located just under the big sheet of black plastic at the rear of the trunk). I broke the wiring connector! It has four fairly heavy duty wiring pins inside, and a small plastic cover that snaps on - but doesn't anymore! Anyone know if the connector plastic is available? Can I just transfer the pins to the new connector (I think they are soldered on)?

Did the wires actually come loose or just the cover is broken? I did the same thing to mine and I just left the cover off. Fan's been working fine.

Only the plastic case is broken - so the little plastic cover won't snap on. The wires are fine. I could just put a piece of electrical tape over it, but I'd rather fix it more permanently.

You sound like me with wanting to keep the car all original. Whenever a part breaks or comes up missing, I like to replace these broken/missing pieces too. I, too, would like to know if just the cover can be ordered. One thought: See if there is a part# on this cover and call your local Porsche dealer. I will check mine tonight since I kept the cover.
