Be aware-its a '75!
The '75 "S" is nothing else but the standard '76, but lacking rust protection (not galvanized). It has the 'usual! 2.7 engine which you will know following this board. Price though sounds quite reasonable, but a deposit BEFORE having a personnel look? I wouldn't touch such auction. Jens |

Currently $9,300.00 (reserve not yet met) 6 days to go.
That is a very clean ’75. I’m sure the price will go up. '81 Platinum Metalic SC COUPE |

Yes, no real connection between a pre-74 S and a post-74 S. It's name inflation.

"If the car is not as represented upon your inspection
your deposit is completely refundable" So, no California Classicks, this dealer. The car seems to be as represented...which is NOT an early ('67 thru '73) 911S. But it does seem to be a '75 in a condition far exceeding that of any "average" '75. [This message has been edited by pwd72s (edited 09-05-2001).] |

The key thing here is the reserve is not met
and it does not say what the reserve is. It could be 20,000. Probably not but you really dont know what they are asking for this car. ------------------ Jerry '86 carrera coupe |
