911 no start

Ok, so I finally got my 81 911 SC into the 78 911 Carrera body. but it wont start. Like nothing, no starter nothing. It 'ran' in the 81 just fine, so what could I be missing on the 78? the speedo hasn't been installed yet but I don't think thats it... Any Ideas?

Thanks

So I should probably add, when I connect the battery the car powers on, like the key is in the ignition. but the key is still on the seat. Nothing happens when I put the key in and turn it.

Starting problem.......

If the starter is not turning, check these:

1. Cable ground strap at transmission to chassis.
2. Battery is fully charged.
3. Starter is in good operating condition.
4. Check power at the yellow wire terminal (starter solenoid) when you crank the starter.

You have to make the starter crank or turn to get the engine running. So this is your main goal. Power to the yellow terminal (solenoid) to activate the solenoid/starter. Keep us posted.
