The upper and lower holes on the double hinge for the roller pin mounted to the "A" frame have become enlarged and the fit is loose. The door stay strap snaps when opening or closing the door. In the past I have a roller pin specially machined to fit the enlarged holes. Very expensive. Is there a more economical fix?

You may require help from a body shop at this point.

Some people use a bolt and nut in that location.
