Targa Calif.??

Is anyone in the NW considering going to this event in April?
I would love to go, but its too far to drive my Hot Rod 914.
Wondering if there is anyone that would want to share a car hauler?

What's happening in April there? It's not too far from Edgefield. McMenemin's brew/distillery place.

Targa California returns for its 5th annual tour of some of Southern California's best sports car roads.

New this year is a change of routes going to the south, instead of Central coast. This 3 day event starts with check in at the Days Inn in Glendale April 23rd in the evening.
Thursday morning the 24th has late check in, and off we go for the day's drive. The first night is a welcome dinner at the Fantasy Springs Casino Resort in Indio.
Friday morning, a short drivers meeting and a drive that brings us to Chuckwalla Raceway, where parade laps and lunch will be served.
An afternoon drive brings us to the Desert Princess Resort , in Cathedral City, for the evening.

Saturday , the 26th has us exploring yet another set of roads which bring us to the finale, a farewell lunch, in San Juan Capistrano.

With approximately 750 miles of fun roads over the two and a half days, the Targa California does not disappoint !

The event is open to 1975 and older makes, with allowance for continuation models (Read up thru 1989 911, Datsun 280Z, and others)

This event is sponsored by our host Pelican Parts, Auto Kennel, St Clair Insurance, and TRE Motorsports. Sanction and entry is organized by NASA

Registration will open by January 10, which we expect to fill quickly. Only 125 spaces are allotted.

Entry fee is a modest $300

Will YOU be joining us?
