RUF Front bumper fit HELP!

Hey pelicans, need some suggestions for fitting my RUF Front bumper. previous owner had some fender modifications to the front and rear fenders so he could fit the 964 CUP rims 17x8 front and 17x9.5 rear. here lies the problem, originally i picked up some knock off RUF type bumpers to install but as luck would have it around Christmas time i found a front and rear set of actual RUF bumpers from a CR3.4 here in japan. as you can see in the pictures the fender modifications make the front look a little odd. I really don't want to hack up the bumpers but after seeing how well these fit i really don't want to touch the knock offs. any suggestions on how to make the bumper match the fender?

obvious has already been thought of with buying another set of fenders. but that would mean sourcing a new set of front rims to fit under the narrower lip.

One of the challenges you will have is that original RUF bumpers were/are made with polyurethane, not Fiberglas. Therefore modifying them will not be easy, since you would have to add dissimilar material. It might actually be easier to modify the fender to blend in with a better taper angle. I am sure there are experts here who can weigh in with more specifics, and this might not be as challenging as it seams. Good luck.

That isn't even close to a narrow body fender flare. Actually looks closer to a turbo flare.

Your easiest solution is going to be to go with the fiberglass RUF bumper and reglass that area to match or get some stock fenders to put on the car.
I think it would really be a waste of money (and a good original RUF part) to try and modify it to fit a one-off fender setup.

An original ruf bumper could pay for the job of fixing the fenders to match the knockoff bumper and still fit the larger wheels.
But Correct Spacers should locate those wheels with careful tire size choice under standard narrow body fenders. You may need to roll the fenders but many have done that with no change in look to standard fenders.
So my suggestion is new fenders to match the ruf bumper. But you could sell that pricey part and fund the other mods.

Thanks for the input, yeah i have been weighing my options especially after fitting the rear bumper. All the lines are good, just not enough on the flare to match the fender. I also have a Turbo rear RUF type bumper but its too wide and the flare is a different shape. One thing i might end up doing is taking my stock bumper flares and using them to create a mold so i can lay glass that will line up.
