motor/tranny mounts
Anyone running solid mounts on the street??

I do. You notice some bolts and screws vibrating loose, sooner, but it doesn't make a huge difference in ride quality or noise level if you only run solid mounts in back. If you put solid mounts at the tranny points, I've heard the car becomes a 2500-pound noisemaker.

Hard to say, since I did them at the same time as a whole bunch of other mods. But I certainly don't feel like complaining about them.

I just installed a pair of solid motor mounts in the rear. My old ones were 24 years old, so it was a huge improvement. Much crisper shifting. Now i need to put cab mounts on the tranny, and my shifting in corners should be greatly improved
. Pretty straight foward job. It took about 1.5 hours, and that included some cleaning of things in the engine compartment.
