I decided against keeping and repairing the A/C on my 86 Carrera and spend the money on other areas in need instead.
I have all the components out of the car. Is there any value in keeping the hose fittings, or do I just throw them away?

I would keep all the parts in a sealed plastic garbage bag. Hoses included.
Even though they may sit in an attic for 15 years and dry rot, at least you can say to a prospective buyer that you have the ac system but it's not installed. He would want new barrier hose anyways - but he will not be starting from scratch, which can be unnerving.

Oops! I cut the hoses to make it easier to remove...
![]() I have all the rest already stored, including the old evap and fan... Thanks Bob!

Ditch the hoses then. :-)
More of a marketing tool than anything else. Keep the under-body fasteners.

I kept all those; they are in serious need of a ride in the tumbler...
