What's a '69 T worth?

There's a rust-free 1969 911T Non-sunroof Coupe that I am looking at currently. It has original floors, a new stereo upgrade that sounds very nice, and a strong engine. I drove it, and it's very good. It has a 915 transmission and headers. Other than that it's stock. Painted Red/Black. Very nice original paint. Almost perfect. The odo says 14K miles but I know it's at least 114,000, or possibly TMU. He said there have been no accidents ever but the doors do not seem like they line up properly. Everything else lines up and has the Porsche 'ring' when you close them. Fresh tires. Great driver. Anyone venture to guess what it's worth? No pictures, sorry, but I've seen it in person.

Well

The paint is a little dull, but I know from experience that you could buff it up with a polish and it would look new. It has a 1969 911T engine that runs very well, and is smoke-free. Very nice driving car. I have checked-no rust ever. The guy is actually a buddy of mine and he has no idea what it's worth. He just bought a brand-new A4 Sedan with a 6-speed manual and the 3.0l engine. That is a *****ing car for not being a Porsche! Sounds very nice too. He also has a 993TT that is MESMERIZING in its ability to defy all physics. It goes, stops, and changes direction before one can blink.

It's a pretty decent car.

I like the car, but I am just uneasy about the doors not lining up right. Could this be caused by anything other than an accident?

One cannot assume no rust from a casuall inspection. Or for that matter take someones word for it.

As clean as PWD72s's car is, he cannot say his car is rust free. Well, he can say it but it may not be true.
Not that he has claimed either, I'm just using his car as an example because of its great condition.

As far as I'm concerned nobody can tell if a car is rust free until it has undergone a complete inspection. Which involves the removal of the entire carpet and sound deading material.
This is just scratching the surface of a rust inspection.

About the doors not lining up, please explain where the problem lies and I can tell you how to fix.
