Ideas on tracking down reason she stalls at idle?
Hi guys, hoping for some guidance here on why my '74 with an early 3.2 in her keeps stalling. In moderate SoCal temperatures (min 60's) she'll start just fine and the first several time I stop or let her go back to idle by putting the clutch in the RPMs drop to 850 quick but hold there steady. A couple minutes after that she'll just die when the clutch goes in. It isn't stumbling, she just cuts out. Once fully warmed up she'll idle correctly.
She has what I believe to be a factory MOTRONIC CPU still.

tired, sluggish idle stabilizer valve perhaps. be sure the throttle closed micro-switch is working. an ohmmeter on the plug will tell you.

Thanks John, will look up how to test that circuit.
I don't have a Bentley manual handy, does anyone have a picture of where you connect the OHM meter? Sorry, I did try searching.
