Recommendations for a PPI shop in Atlanta?
I'm looking at several cars in the Atlanta area. Can anyone recommend a good independent shop to perform some PPI's?

Schulr: great minds think alike.........I've got a 99 Disco II, had a 96 Disco previously, and my Carrera has about the same mileage as yours

Bob Sanderson at Performance Imports 770 457-5550 gets my recomendation. He performed my PPI over a year ago.
Also, I'm on the North side of Atlanta. If the cars you're looking at are nearby, I might be able to take a look at the car first to save you on the PPI, depending on what I see and report to you.

Be sure to post what u are looking at, sure to get a lot of advice.
R22, your disco is more refined, wish I had that model, mine is more like a truck, in fact it is my truck except the wife drive it and I have the porsche. sorry I can't make the weekend, maybe next time.

Gainsville is about an hour ne of atlanta, if anyone from atlanta is going to Road Atlanta Oct 12, it would be easy for them to stop by. I am not familiar with this company.

Another good one is Black Forest aka Robin Hayes. He's located in the Road Atlanta business park. The door to his shop overlooks turn 1. His phone number is 770-967-3331. I'd rate him on par with Jack Lewis (both among the best there is).
FYI...I see a recommendation for Jim at Germain Motor Tech....had a bad experience with him a few years ago....won't go back. FWIW.
