did the caramba/WD40 "flooding" after best cleaning the are around the cap.

so question for tomorrow (after a quick unseuccessful pre-test to wiggle the cap out with an old screw driver): grip it with a big plier and wrench it out/off?
I understand the cap is quiet rebust/massive, so it can take some roughness.

Don't waste your money. Unless the originals were badly pitted, there's no reason to get new/refurbished ones. Just clean it up and reuse it.

You ought to buy 101 Projects for your Porsche 911. It's made by Wayne (our host) and covers much more than just this topic.
