Gotties or Fuchs for new tires?

Me and the wife are at odds. I need tires and can only afford one set. Both Gotties and Fuchs are the same size so it only boils down to looks. She likes the brightness of the Gotties and I like the more subtle aggressive look of the ****s.

What do you all think?

The Gottis rather fit to a RUF-style sort of car => eBay!

Absolutely the FUCHS! Those Gotties are some ugly a$$ wheels. My opinion of course.

Normally I would say the Gotti's but I like them in Matt black, these are too shinny for me. They need some spray on plasti-dip or something.

The Fuch's are never going to make you feel like the odd man out at a PCA event, and will maintain the value of your investment.

Fuch's are the way to go.

If you put the Gotti's up for sale after tax time, please send me a FYI PM, I may be interested in buying them from you.

The phone dials I have on my car could be improved by just about anything else.

Strange thing is non-Porsche people compliment me on them all the time.

Sample of the plasti-dip effect:

if you want that effect, here's the two-in-one solution: just plasti-dip your fuchs all black

Thanks all, it was/is the wifes car and for the past couple of years mine to use. Well after much needed work. I put the Fuchs on, removed the tail and yes Flojo the fogs.
The tail was so poorly mounted it was shaky, the car came with the fogs added later mounted under the bumper so no holes in the valance and never had the switch in the dash so that was good clean removal.

Never had any history on the car but we have had it for about 10 years, Previous to the previous owner must have added all the bling, I never liked it as said Mex with all those add ons and the speakers once installed had the coke era feel (I did search all the nooks and cranies for any forgotten contraband).

Now my next dilema is what tires. I have searched here and still undecided. I have a month + to decide. But that is another topic.

Good choice on the Fuchs.
The Gottis are too much bling.
For tires, I went with RE-11s because I needed 245/45R16 on the rear, and that's the only manufacturer that makes that size.

I think since u said it is your wifes car u should do whatever she wants. But maybe you should try to compromise . She likes bling so maybe a polished paddle fuch?

Can't help but wonder if your wife is simultaneously on some pinterest website or something asking her girlfriends for input between fuchs and gotti's....

I would seriously consider polishing the paddles as a compromise! Get out the sandpaper!
or... you could always switch rims every tire change. This set of tires- gotti's. Next set- Fuchs. Then Gotti's... etc etc...
You have a very serious situation on your hands!
