Not sure. I opened a post in our forums. A Pelican community member may be able to answer your question.

Should be, I currently have a 1986 3.2 Carrera cab with factory air which is an original Australian market RHD car.

Of coarse it is. My C3 has it. It was installed when the car was about 10 years old.
Pretty hard to find a 911 in Australia without air con. It's about as essential as a reliable engine down here.

Not entirely sure how it would/could differ from a/c fitted on a lhd car.

Will,

My C3 is a UK car without AC would be interested in where yours was installed.

Cheers

It would be interesting to know.
My c3 was originally delivered to knutsford in the UK without a/c.
Not sure when or where it was installed. Perhaps pulling it out would reveal a sticker of the installer or something.
Condenser is from the early-mid 80's though.

Derek,
Apologies for the thread hijack but before I do.........
Do get familiar with the search function on this forum I'd post some links but not sure how to do that on a iPad but I searched using "AC, air conditioning" and came up with 11 pages of threads. You may have to register to use the search function but try it and see.

Will,
Next time I am up your way I'd be interested to compare cars or if you ever get down near the south coast?
Or if you do any track days Porsche Club Canberra has a Wakefield track day on March 10 which I will join in on. You don't have to be a member I'm not and they let me in!

Cheers
Bill
