Well as some of you may know I am away at Police Training
The next two days I hope are going to be great. We are going up North to the Police Track - basically just part of a runway, to learn high speed driving. ![]() I have never participated in an autocross but am hoping it is similar. I know I won't be in a 911, but HEY I also am not responsible for any damage or maintenance either! I will let you guys know how it was. Wish me luck Shawn

Good luck, my company offers the training and I have heard it is worth the time to learn even if you aren't in law enforcement. Sometimes aggressive driving keeps you out of accidents.

15 years later, and I still use the stuff I was taught during pursuit and defensive driving. It's not quite like a bike though... you gotta keep practicing to keep keen
If you ever get the opportunity to do your solo (motorbike) course it is a "must do". Good luck.

Just curious, how fast do the cop cars go? I was on the turnpike in Maryland and a cruiser flew past me doing at least 100-110.

I would suppose that depends on the car. In this state, I've seen some pretty hot looking Camaros...the driver of same looking through the sights of a laser unit...I wouldn't have wanted to test him for top end speed.
