Yellow Powder on Plug
Very odd situation and have no idea what cause is. While checking the plugs I noticed a bright yellow powder (looks like sulphur!) inside the spark plug boot and on the plug tip very thick. This is on #5 only. Plug seems to be a little loose as well.
Any ideas?

It's likely you've been driving around with the Beru connector *not* fully seated on the plug terminal. The yellow powder is caused by the degradation of the connector's phenolic material, due to severe arcing.

Thanks for the reply...does that mean the connector is probably ruined?

Could be toast.
I've got one in my junk box that suffered the same fate, and it measured *open* when checked with the VOM.

How would I test the plug wire to see if it's any good? I have a multimeter.
Thanks
