Poor Touch Up Paint. Help!

So my car has a couple of tiny spots where the previous owner applied touch-up paint to. The paint barely looks like it is the same color and stands out like a sore thumb. It is also raised over the paint so it looks even worse. My car is a 28 year old 930 and I really want these gone as the car is pretty impeccable.

I was going to wet sand the spots, then compound, then polish, then wax. Problem is that i think the spots will still be visible since the colors don't match 100%.

Any suggestions on how to completely remove the touch up paint so I can start new or should I just use this method, see the results, and then decide? Is there a chance the touch-up paint will be harder than the stock paint as there is no clearcoat and I will go below the stock paint?

If the car is so impeccable as you said I would let only a pro do it.

If you want to DIY nail polish remover or acetone will take touch up paint. Don't let it sit for too long or you are going to start damaging the original paint.

Get the corner of a towel wet with the stuff and dab. Look, wait , repeat.

I would use a pro....can't find one. But I will try.

Touchup paint/ color codes will not match up to 28+ year old paint., can"t even org. paint. Today you have to get water born paint. Go to your ppg retailer and ask who they would use, or if they would match your paint. Do not let them get out there 4k. camera and say it will match. It has to be done with the eye in the sun light. Took my painter several sample to get it right. If you don't use clear coat it won't match either.
