Several of us have taken time to offer you help in establishing a realistic value for your car. That's why you started this thread, isn't it? But it seems like you reply to each post very defensively and imply that you know more about the value of the car then the person offering you the help! Maybe you do. But why start the thread if that's the case? -- Curt

I'm not trying to be harsh, but your car is probably worth $3 - 4K if it has rust. Anyone voting over that is yankin your chain or doesn't know the market.

You also haven't given the group enough pics of the car to make a fair assessment. Based on what you've posted so I'd guess that $7K is very optimistic.

Guys? You haven't figured out that 911T is a kid? Well kid, 911T, you have lots to learn. This car of yours? A learning experience. Dig?

Opinion -
Have your uncle teach you to weld. You can both fix the car, keep driving it, maybe go the Honyotasan™ beater route for a driver. I'm betting you can get your rust situation under control. Fix this one, keep driving it, and dream about the perfect one that you won't muck up because you'll learn so much on this one. And in five years if it's really shot you can still part it out. -I don't think he's being defensive; he's just trying to get people to clarify their positions. This is an interactive board, people. |
