Anyone know this Cali Car?

I bought this car in Costa Mesa and had a ppi. It showed signs of oil in one cylinder and seemed to be in need of a tune. Well low and behold a tune will not fix the issue.

It is a twin plug 3.0 sc motor taken up to 3.2 liter with electromotive installed.

I guess on the bright side all the other cylinders seem to be firing just fine. A 5 cylinder is 911 is very rare and desirable.

So,
Why isn't it firing on all cylinders?

The stance doesn't look right in the pic. (Could be front driver's corner up on curb?)
The car should have some rake to it.

Our team finished the Dayton 24 Hours with a 5 cylinder car in 85 or 86. I don't remember anyone happy with that other then the, "Holy Crappola. We finished!!!"

Check if the injector is working (clicking noise) using a stethoscope or metal screw driver.

You can also use a noid light.

I had this problem on one cylinder and it turn out a bad contact in the plug at the ECU end.

The car has been lowered hence the goofy stance, it is not too bad. But I sure would not have paid any money to do it.

I will check with the shop to make sure they have checked all this especially the coil before they crack the engine. Compression is good, but they have not done a leak down which as I understand it will help determine if the problem may be from a valve guide seat.

With a scope they saw no cylinder wall damage which is good.

There is oil pooling in one of the cylinders I think the #2. All the suggestions above are good reasons why this might be happening. And they are the way to start.

First I would check spark. Could be a bad electromotive coil or leads but the spark plug has been changed. If it is not getting spark the cylinder would not heat up and oil would pool.

Second would be the fuel injector.

After that I would look at guide valves and then rings but I would make sure I checked all the horses above before I would dive in there looking for a Zebra. Anymore refinement on diagnostic protocol would be appreciated.

I just bought this car,
