Question How many 3.2's with LSD

I popped into my local OPC yesterday to pick up some touch up paint and to drool over the fine array of machinery on view.

The salesman could not have been more of an enthusiast and took a great interest in my car, showed me a 356 cabrio in the workshop and most importantly ran my chassis number through their computer to see what it threw up.

Surprisingly the print out showed that my car had been specified with a limited slip diff from new.

My understanding is that the 3.2 did not have an LSD as standard - is this correct.

If it is correct, are there any figures to suggest how many cars were so specified?

How many other members cars have an LSD?

My '86 has it. It was a $595 option at the time.

Wonder if the intro of the G50 in 87 made any difference?

Mine has it on a G50, It is a modest (40%) slip compared to Quaife. I think there are some out there from people that have upgraded to a Quaife if you need one.
