Lightbulb SC Project Camera Mount ..?

Hi
I have been getting involved in trackdays quite a lot and I am interested in taking some in-car shots/video of the action, I don't have a roll cage to fit a standard camera mount to so I am looking for ideas ... One suggestion so far is a horizontal tube/bar between the upper seat belt mounting points and a fixing point about halfway across!
Has anyone found a way of doing this yet? Please share your ideas or experiences ....

I would also love to hear from other SC owners on this or other matters - especially U.K.

Thankyou in advance

Well if you track it, you should have at least a harness bar and five point belts. Mount it to the bar with a shock mount. Most camera stores will have a mount that will work.

Cool

Look in a phtography magazine in WHSmith, dont buy it, be cheap like everyone else. There is an advertiser that makes tripods etc. They also make a suction cup that is designed for camcorders,I remember seeing it tested about four months ago(went down very well) I think the cost was about £80 but mounted to the inside of the windscreen and gave a very stable platform to film from.Just found the web site- www.b-hague.co.uk

This is a thread about choosing a camera, but it has some mounting ideas.
