Phoenix Club Anaheim All Porsche Show and Swap Meet!

Interesting show and have attended a few other times in the past! It rained but there was still a good turn out! They had to close off the grass areas, so they made all of the cars find any patch of asphalt or concrete that could be found. Thus had cars in corners, between benches, in front of the bathroom entrance, in front of concessions stand, everywhere. No real designated areas for the different models except maybe over by the 911S registry guys table, but even there, some Carreras and a hot 914 with 916 style panels and flares were parked.

The 959 is Wayne's. He has been neglecting it in favor of his several 962's. I want to have his problems.

I didn't realize there was a picture limit! So I had to split my post!

I am picturing mostly 911's because this is a 911 thread! Also there was a 959 which has Pelican Parts tint that I assumed was brought by them. A purple car was opened also and super clean, but I didn't find the Owner to ask about it. And so many others with truly beautiful 356's galore and a bunch of sweet 912's and modern cars, and a few 924's/928's etc.! Great little show!!!!!!!!!!

And there was one VW that someone snuck in, how did that get in there??? But it was one of those Oval window ones, beautiful!

I am going to load some pictures! I don't see an event review section here and since most of what I shot was 911's, I will put this up here for everyones enjoyment!

I also went to the Hilton by LAX and what a show of just pure Porsche P0rno! Table after table of stuff that could fill up all of the shelves in the house!

PS- I messed up and will need to load the pics when I get home. I changed camera chips and brought the wrong one to work today with me, realizing it just after I had opened this thread! Sorry!

I'm a new guy, so I'm slow with the pictures!

I have to eat a sandwich!!!! Real Quick, I'm hungry. But I will be back tonight maybe give me hour or less and I will get more cool pictures up for everyone and especially the super cool R Gruppe guys!

Ok I shouldn't have ate!!!!!

Now the darn download speed is "killing me slow"! Maybe because of all of these picture posts, I caused the internet to slow down!

Here is 20 so far! I would like to get more up, maybe 10 more tonight and tomorrow etc. some more!

I would like to post more, but my apology because I wear glasses and then the camera lense was getting all wet and caused the blurry pictures! It definitely wasn't my excellent photographic skills! But I don't think I am posting for a dumb crowd, thus you guys will see straight thru that excuse! Thus some of the blurry ones, I will probably see if I can substitute out those for better shots!

Thus please don't report my thread because of bad photography! It is the first that I have piloted!!!!!So don't scare the rookie away, or get me sent to band camp!!!!

Lastly what I am appreciating about these guys, is taking them cool car out , knowing it was going to rain all over them.

PS is it ate or eaten??????

Double PS-- you guys can tell from the pictures that you couldn't get in unless you had a German Beer already in your hands!

I promised some more shots tonight, but tired! A few more.

This table impressed me, because he had just about every Socal plate in the known world!

You do NOT need to own an early 911S to join the Early 911S Registry. All are welcome, though the actual list of cars is only early 911s. To see photos on the site you need to register for the forum, which is free for the time being. However we ask that if you use the forum regularly that you pay membership dues, for which you receive a subscription to the excellent club magazine The Esses.

Hey your the one I saw that started the bacon on bratwurst theme, ha ha now that's a German jack commercial if ever I saw one. Then again bacon on anything is good.

Thanks for the photos and look me up at fest of speed. I'd like to meet you in person I just moved back home to SoCal and brought her back home to where I bought her 30 yrs ago. Was nice to finally get her to a SoCal event.

You can't complain about rain when we are sitting in a foot of snow here in the NE.

But I can check for interiors from past shows for you! Not right now, but later or this weekend! My guess is that you are interested more in what the Renegade builts are doing with those!!! But they have alot of recaro's, and some vintage seats, Momo wheels, and such, pedal rests and aluminum this and that mostly!

Now that I know him, I had put Draden's car up, because he had things that I had never seen. If he is looking in, maybe some explanation as to what we are seeing!!!! Especially all of those round ones in the aluminum!

I realize at these events, not alot of people are leaving their doors open! I only really had these three of a 911, 914, and 356. Thus I will dig up some of the real race cars, because I know will will have interior shots from attending track events!
