I read the article and really liked the car. I think the color, beige-grey, is very close to the Linen Grey of my Carrera.

That's a very nice car -- a good selection of the best-of parts bin from the various air-cooled cars. And Tony and Marco are good people!

Tony is one of the most amazing people I could have had the pleasure of building a car with.
He is a beacon for our hobby and a truly generous individual....

I like Tony's 72 cruiser but would really love to get my hands on his blue 2.7L hot rod....

You're welcome to the blue car anytime you're in town for a visit, Luke. But, it's a 2.8L not a 2.7.

My father doesn't check up on the forums much, but I showed him this thread and it made him happy. Thanks to all for the kind words ...

I knew Tony and Marco from my RGruppe days. Although I've never been to TLG I can tell you that these guys are certainly not short on enthusiasm. Plus, they are pretty cool cats to boot.

I've been working with Tony and Marco for the past decade+ It all started with an RS clone I bought and found out later that Tony built the motor. He is a true maestro. Every car that he tunes is like magic. At first, it was working with only Tony. Eventually, Marco came into the fold and really took the business to the next level. Kudos to both of you guys. Obviously, I have a soft spot for father and son teams in business. I just wish you were in the OC

Thanks again for all your help over the years. You guys are simply THE BEST!

Cheers,

Paul

Nice to see this thread. I'm a pal of Marco's (motorcycles), he helped me find my beloved 911 which was exactly what I wanted. TLG Auto helped make it better post purchase and have always guided me in the right direction. Really good folks who obviously know their craft, and most importantly who go about it in an honest manner.

Go TLG!

+1!

Every day that I get in my hot rod I have to shake my head in amazement. Every single thing he touched putting my car together functions like the day the car rolled off the showroom floor 40 years ago. What Tony knows and can do with these old cars is truly amazing....And he's a lot of fun to be around.

Congrats Tony and Marco on the Excellence piece.

Looks like a great shop and technicians....nice to have around. Essential to have around.
We have some great Porsche only Indy shops in Phoenix too and it is always a pleasure to work with professional guys that take pride in their product.
