Hey Jack, here are a couple solutions I found looking around.

Yes - that last one is the hidden heat set up very stealthy, clean and light. Also not terribly expensive or difficult if you could attach the heat nozzles to the engine tin your self.

Love that rear heater outlet setup. Very clean!
One consideration: usually cyl 3&6 (2 at rear) run slightly hotter not sure if pulling air off at those 2 points will make things worse? |
The 964 uses a piece of stainless tubing for the air crossover, so the P engineers must have had so me reason to spec a cast piece for the 993. Extra heat in that area compared to the 964?

I bought this piece from Patrick motorsports. It should work for me, although it won't be the cleanest install. I will use SCAT hoses, but the v-ram intake interferes. It will be tight...
I have the big cast aluminum manifold as well, but it am using the older engine mount with an m&k muffler, all bolted up to stock 993 heat exchangers. Also still working on the exact plumbing with silicon reducers, couplers, etc.
