What radio would my '74 originally have had?

Would it have been a Blaupunkt Frankfurt?

I think the only way you will find out is to order a COA from Porsche. On it will list options, among them the radio. Not cheap to buy, but I don't know any other way.
I'd buy the radio you like from that era, no one will ever know the difference. According to my COA my 73 came with a Blaupunkt, but if I hadn't gotten the COA I would never have known. I found a deal on a Becker of the same time period and my tech guy who has both prefers the Becker unit.

Hi Robert, thanks for the note back. COA is around $118 if memory serves, wonder what else it would pick up that would be handy besides the radio?

This opens up lots of options including retro fitting an MP3 connection etc I guess.
