help shipping ducktail

I'm buying a duck tail from a fellow pelican that i planned on bringing myself in the plane to Mexico, checking with my airline the oversize they charge is $200usd FedEx wants $500 plus shipping, from where the duck tail is to Vegas where ill be staying, anyone knows of a good shipping company or any other method i can use to get the part shipped and wont cost that much? Ive tried USPS web page but it seems dimensions of the duck tail are too large for shipping

thanks in advance best regards
