Shaking Clutch Pedal
Hi -
I have a 72' 911, and at idle the clutch pedal vibrates enough to make a noise against the wooden plate. The clutch cable is adjusted properly with the correct amount of travel to it so I'm wondering how this is adjusted. Is it the nut at the end of the clutch cable nearest the pedal cluster, or am I looking at possibly replacing the bushings in the pedal cluster as well to tighten things up? Thanks in advance! |

I think, if you pull the floorboard off and look at your pedal assembly, you'll find a broken/exhausted return spring.

...or other issues therein. It's not hard to rebuild these. It's one of Wayne's 101 projects for your 911.
