At SEARS today I bought a #82324 Craftsman Multimeter w PC interface. By the way, normally $79.95...on sale for $59.95. BUt, once I opened the package, discovered the interface floppy is for windows 95. I'm on windows Me. Would I have any problems with the computer if I used the floppy? Thanks!

Most software built for Win95 or newer is upwards-compatible. (The core Win32 API hasn't changed a heckuva lot since '93-94). Give it a try; worst case you can always un-install it. It is extremely unlikely that it would hose up your system.
If you really want, I'm sure you could find a tech-support number or email for the software, but I personally wouldn't bother. Good luck, ------------------ Chris C. 73 914 2.0 70 911E Targa campbell.chris@gte.net |
