Keep the take-off parts in your back seat for when your decambered ball joints and whatnot fail. :D

My street legal race car has ERP 935 front & rear suspension, coil overs etc. You will feel everything on the street. The tires will determine how much camber you can run. On a street car with street tires 1.5-2.0 on the front, which you can get with aftermarket camber plates. More than that, and the front will start feeling pretty twitchy, not to mention excessive tire wear. While you can increase the track width at the bottom, your still limited at the top.
A cool looking set up at the expense of ride quality. |

Out of Sequence... Never mind!

To answer an earlier question on here, the ERP (Eisenlohr Racing Products) front suspension does have longer A-arms than a stock 911 and they are also raised on the inside pickup so, the front has more anti-dive and improved RC (Roll Center) as well. I guess you could say, GT3's (and all 996/997/991 cars) now have the same length arms as ERP has had since 1981 :-)

Any feedback from those who've installed this suspension system? Just curious on their thoughts of how it changed the car from a setup, adjustability and performance standpoint.
|
I still don't know why anyone would choose to spend so much on a system that is no better that what ERP offers at about half the price.
|
And what happened to the ride report? Photos and feedback would be great.
