ER GT3 Front Suspension System
Just wondering if anyone or someone you know has installed this setup in their early 911 yet? Impressions, performance, installation difficulty??? Looks very cool!
Also, wonder if this falls into the category of Suspension attach points , whereby your class is impacted with say PCA, NASA, ect... Enquiring minds |

I don't see how the Elephant Racing GT3 (misnomer) front suspension is any better or even as good as the ERP 935 front suspension setup. The ERP 935 front suspension is significantly cheaper too.

Would love to understand the differences, if any, to the 935 setup.

Hmmmm okay see your point.. Are they a complete apples to apples comparison, as far as what comes with it? Bolts right up into the same attach points, no cutting, welding, fab? Only for coil over applications? ect..
Haven't been able to find any pricing.. looks like lots of places are distributors of same..

Devil Dog,
Is this for a road car or track car? Racing or DE? Cage? Both setups require you to convert to coilovers.....neither requires you to cut or weld the chassis. |

If you have a track car with full cage and are willing to convert to coilovers, I see no reason to buy anything other than he ERP product.

Does ERP still make the 935 setup? I couldn't find it on their site recently.
Rebel still has theirs at half the price ($1750) of the GT3 setup.

Reading ER's website, it appears the geometry, specifically the arm lengths being longer, than stock and presumably ERP's & Rebel's 935 setup.. This will dramatically change/improve the camber gain.
Why not just call Chuck and as him yourself? He's a great guy! |

The ERP 935 arms have more adjustability than what I see in Elephant's. |

Installation is almost done...excellent craftsmanship! Not ready for the road yet as the rear is getting 935 spring plates

Great thread! I almost started the exact same thing about a week ago. I'm very interested to know the same...did it bolt right up, and how long/difficult it was to set up the geometry. And of course your driving impression.
![]() Edit: Also, I assume that you could install and run this front end without converting the rear to 935/coil over suspension. Is that assumption true?

Pretty much bolt on but does need coilovers. Rear does not need the 935 spring plates(I'm just adding those due to the extra power my car is making). When ordering, make sure to mention to Chuck the type of sway bar your car has as it has two mounting locations for sway bars. So depending on your bars you get the right bracket for the location needed. No road test yet as we decided(while'we're in there ) to do the rear wheel bearings as a preventive measure. Road test will be next week..
