Underdash AC for mustangs
Interesting question for the forum - has anyone tried one of these?
I live in Perth Western Australia and don't have AC. This means I actually can't drive my car for a good portion of the year ( most of spring and summer it's to hot) and I would really like to use it as a daily driver but don't want to cut into it to install aircon. These classic under dash (cool only units) look like a simple solution that could easily be removed if someone did not require it Classic Auto Air - Air Conditioning & Heating for 70’s & Older Cars & Trucks. ![]() Does not seem to be anyone who has done this but I'd thought I'd ask anyway

I have seen similar items in VW bugs in the Philippines. I don't think it would cost that much to add one. If you do please do a write up and tell us how it goes.

Insofar as cooling goes this is likely a better setup than any factory system of the pre-1988 era. But as always the condenser requirement is harder to address.
