Gear selection
I have a 1983 SC cab. I have lost gear selection, I have removed the plate on the tunnel. The gear lever shaft is moving on the gearbox knuckle.
How do I position the shaft correctly before I re tighten it ? Thanks for your help. |

lots of threads on this one and if you scroll to the top of this page and click on "tech info" there are step by step instructions i believe. When you say you have lost gear selection do you mean the gearbox won't go into any gear? Warren

The Allen screw is self-aligning, the clamp nut is a whole different story.
Take a photo of the loose bits. |
