Reverse light wiring - engine drop
Can someone verify if I need to disconnect the wiring from the reverse light switch in the front (rear) of the transmission before dropping the engine, or is the wiring part of the main harness that I've disconnected inside the left side of the engine bay? I have not seen any reference to disconnecting the wiring to this switch in any engine drop topic, so I'm assuming it's part of the engine harness.
Thanks.

Engine main wiring harness......
No need to disconnect the reverse light switch at the nose of the transmission during an engine drop. But there are several electrical wires that have to be disconnected like the speed sensor in the tunnel, the black cable from battery to starter, 14-pin connector, etc.

If you are dropping the engine separate from the trans you have to disconnect it. Dropping together, no.
