It's not very easy on the eyes. Looks like the offspring of a Boxster and a Corvette.

Of course, I'm still glad they're making it.

To me it looks like a current model MR2 on steroids. I guess this is a back handed compliment to Porsche since the MR2's styling is an obvious copy of the Boxster with some sharper edges.

The view of the back reminds me a little of one the recent picture's of Curt Egerer's dreamcar with the two big pipe's exiting about 1/2 up.

Sure I'd take one. I'm not picky!

I think its positively wicked looking ... like "don't mess with me or else". Not sure about that rear wing though. There's a lot of space in the rear of the car they need to do something with (or nothing).

The landscape in Cary is a lot different than Charlotte.

I actually like the car in these shots better than the showcar. I guess the roof gives it a more purposeful look. I hope someone runs it in the ALMS GTS catagory. Guess it won't be a Porsche effort though.

It's probably just me, but I see some hints of the 917...

Do you see the size of those calipers! Bet the seat belts are important when you stab the brakes!

Location looks like California or somewhere in the Southwest - Ahmet?

Don, I think you're right about location.
Do the radio telescopes match?

The plates are German (see the little D for Deutschland in the blue stripe)

The volcanic landscape plus the telescope suggest the Canary Islands in Spain (hey, I'm not far, I'll go get a plane now!!!!)

I used to live in Cary, NC and those sure weren't taken on the Parkway!

It looks very large, Corvette size. Definitely reminds me of a Boxster on growth hormones and 'roids. Long and low.

The roofline in this angle is highly unusual but reminiscent of the last gen 300ZX. Intrigueing though. That is a long back end.

That wing just isn't working though. Kinda like that pop up thing on the back of the Boxster. What's up with that?

And those batman headrest? Give those a rest too.

Basically, I like it. Give it a little more stark German functionality and a few less styling buggers and I think it could be good.

I agree on the wing, it's a tad hokey, but a more permanent design would have to be lower so as not to be "rice" but then probably wouldn't be as effective in the "dirty" air, and therefore bigger.

I WANT one...
