help repear alumine tube oil

hello
The aluminum tube or pipe oil, which passes underneath the engine is badly beaten and battered -. currently living in Argentina, so today, it is impossible to buy a new one (I bought spare 4 or 5 months ago and no custom releases) -.
Returning to the subject as I can get back to the cylindrical shape?? try tightening at its widest part with a clip to see if recovered its cylindrical shape but it is very hard, I could not do anything. -
I happened to heat (torch, or, hot air gun), but I'm afraid to spoil someone could improve the way?
I fear that harm the lubrication being so narrow -. NOT become totally extrangulado but I worry. -
Attached photos, I hope proposals or ideas to solve
regards
Enzo

There is a tool for something like this.
It is a series of balls joined by links that you drive through the tube.
They are slightly smaller than the oil tube in diameter.
If you can't find one of those...perhaps a handfull of the correct size ball bearings (old..used?) might work....heat the tube and drop in the balls until they reach the crushed area...then put in another ball and push slowly while heating the crushed area.
If the tube is filled with these bearings...they will slowly (and gently) push out the crush.
Go slow...use just enough heat to get the job done.
Good Luck
Bob

I cannot contribute, sorry... but this is a nice example of why I'm not really fond of this below-tranny-oiltube, as it is exposed and just may get hit one day, as to be seen in the pixture.

this is why I like the over-the-top version a lot (cant remember the provider).

The over the top is an early version from the 2.0 and 2.2 engines, but remember, the early hoses are smaller diameter until 2.4l.

Hi, thanks for your contributions. the idea is very good. is difficult to get as many balls of steel to reach the place. but it occurs to one ball, two small hooks to solder as "u", then tie a steel cable on each side and try to pass from one side to another, back and forth (hand in case one breaks), someone try heating the aluminum tube? What, tool? perhaps with acetylene, but I fear that much heat? Hot air gun should be very little heat? with a stove in the kitchen? are saying?
Regards Enzo

Enzo...no acetylene!!!
Use a Propane torch if possible.
All you need to do is get the tube nice and warm....so that it's too hot to touch with bare hands...but does not change colour (as in welding).
Work slowly....use as little pressure as possible.
Perhaps start with small balls and work up slowly?
Bob

Yea, don't try to heat it to get it to change colors. Aluminum does not get red with heat, it just melts.

Isn't that a steel pipe???

Maybe hook it up to your compressor, pressurize it and then heat the dented zone. The air pressure should push the dents out.
