Question Anyone know what this is for?

Does anyone know what's the purpose of the bracket that I've highlighted in blue in the pic below? I have a similar attachment point on my pillar as well...

Thanks,
-Wade

On my car, that is not a bracket, but a plate with the VIN on it. The number should be visable when looking from the outside.

I think that is where the VIN sits. Look real close for the numbers.

isn't that where you mount the NOS button and guages? Preferably glow-in-the-dark?

How about the mounting bracket for your cup holder? You can then feed straws around the rest of the pillar for a DE event!

Hey guys,

I'm pretty confident that the bracket is used to hang the ear plugs I need when my wife is whining.
