Outer Spring Plate Cover Spacers

I took my suspension apart on my 71 roller over a year ago. As I put it back together, I've been able to put my hands on every part I took off (it was missing a lot of stuff when I got it) except these spacers. It's been long enough that I can't remember if they were one of the missing pieces or not.

Has anyone used a substitute for these like stacked washers, etc? They are really expensive for what they are. I've put out a WTB ad, but no takers yet. Looking for suggestions. Can someone measure the depth of these spacers for me?

TIA

Tom

Doh! Great suggestion, Thanks!

Parts Heaven came through! Still not cheap, but a little more reasonable.

Hi Tom

It's a pity I live on the other side of the Atlantic, I could knock a couple up on my lathe (already made some for my own cars). Anyway they are 16mm long 22mm diameter with an M10 clear hole (10.5mm). You could try yourself buy some 22mm stock bar and drill a hole down the middle then saw them off to 16mm. It is much easier with a lathe, maybe you have a friend with one. If all else fails I can send a couple in the post.

Hope this helps

Barry
