I have seen that in all of my Mercedes toolkits.

EDIT: Sorry, the obvious, it is the plug wrench.

Yes but more importantly this is the longer one of the two! (Tool set for a 78)

Have you tried to use this one? They work well but being longer it can be difficult to use in the confines of the engine bay.
The shorter also works well for all plugs so I don't understand why Porsche put this one in the set.

abc123:

I am no expert, but if memory serves me right that is a Spark Plug tool for a 924/944 Porsche car.

I'm not disputing either because these also come as standard in the 911 kit.

Ironic, but I was just getting ready to start a thread asking others here about what car tool kit belongs to, and this plug wrench is also in the tool kit I have.
This kit came with an 83 911sc I recently bought. I have never seen one like it for a 911. interestingly, the plug wrench has "Klein" and "West Germany" on it.
So we know it is for a German car and it is made prior to 1990.
Here is a pic of the full kit. Anyone have any ideas which german car this kit is for? It will answer both abc123's and my question....
