Remove rear A/C condenser from deckid
This feels like a silly question, but I just can't figure this out.
I'm trying to swap out my tail, and the A/C condenser which is mounted to the grill through the decklid is giving me fits. There appears to be one last nut I need to remove on the bottom edge, in the middle of it - but it seems to be hidden behind the condenser itself. Is there a trick to this I don't know about??? Thanks -Glenn |

On my car, there were two bolts that fasten the AC condenser to the deck lid hinges. That was all that holds my condenser on, well, that and the hoses help hold it up.

Got it. Turns out the middle bolt in the back didn't have to come out, it wasn't holding the condenser on. I get it now :-)

Some earlier years would have the condenser secured flush to the underside and grill using screws through lid, rather than supported on the hood hinges.
