Electrical plug what is it
81 targa decided to replace my oxy sensor today and check on some fuse wiring condition
Found this 3 wire plug not connected to anything Brown wire going to ground There's also a red wire and green wire anyone know what it's for ? ![]()

Test port plug........
That's the test port or plug for the ECU for checking the OXS/FV operation.

A dwell meter. A dwell meter is used to measure the frequency valve(fv) duty cycle. The fv varies the air/fuel mixture based on input from the ecu and oxygen sensor when the car is warm.

It is a diagnostic port. You use the green/white wire to test the duty cycle of the ECU. Red is power. Brown is ground.
