So what is your question? Are they real Fuchs? Look genuine to me.

They made more than a few 15x6 and 7s. Different finishes and such.

Not the first time I read abaut and see miss-stamped fuchs.

Somebody was "sleeping" that day when stamping ;-)

Did you measure them correctly? 15" Fuchs do measure 16" across at the outer diameter.

In the 3rd photos the 'X15" is 'cast into the rim ... not stamped... the question is not are they original Fuchs but the rims is a 16" has a 16" tire on it how did a rim get cast with 7 X 15 when it is a 7X16 I do not think it is a weld up as the machining are the same as the other 7 X 16 rim I have see the photos they are either the miss marked rim or the 16 rim look the same ft and back.. could it be at Fuchs when they started to cast up 16' rims they changed a 15" to a 16" and lste changed the casting ?

Maybe on April 1st, 1973, Fuchs cast a small batch of these wheels as a practical joke, and you have a collector's item!

Just a quick correction, Fuchs are forged, not cast.

Yeah, I vote for forging error. Someone forgot to change the die for the rear side of the wheel.

I have seen about a dozen of these mismarked wheels.
The 15s and 16 use the same spoke die with interchangeable number fillers.
They sometimes forget to change them when changing over to the next run.
The early wheels had the same problem but it was usually caught and the numbers were ground off of many of them.
There are a more than a few 6X15s with 5.5X15 part numbers on them....
