Before and after Bumper Install

Well I finally got around to fitting my mid with euro bumperttes.

Man, the US bumper guards weight a ton. I really like the look too, they are a nice styling progression from the early bumper guards.

Before

After

Here is the size difference.

Also got my air conditioning fixed as well today, the compressor is sitting on the garage floor.

Actually, I found an euro bumper and just had it painted to match my car so there were no holes to fill. I managed to pull the old bumper off without removing the muffler it really was not too bad.

I got the thing off ebay for something like 250 shipped.

Thanks, it was a great deal especially for off of fee bay.

I like the look, it looks cleaner and lighter.

What a difference that makes. I plan on doing the same thing. I will probably end up just welding the holes closed.

When you get up close and compare the two the US bumper guards are more than twice the size.
