fuchs offsets...are they different for different years of manufacture?

I just got my car (71 targa) back from being aligned and corner balanced. Right rear 15 x 7 looks like it is spaced about a half inch further to the outside than the left...with same negative camber on both sides. On the way home the RR rubbed on the fender lip, LR did not. Pete who did the work wondered about the wheel offset, so I pulled both wheels off and looked at the part numbers (right) 911 361 020 11with a 11/73 date stamp and AS 162 2813 12, (left) had ET 23 under the 15 x 7 and 911 361 020 with AS 1062 no date stamp visible. Both wheels use the later ring type center cap. To compare, I pulled off the right front 15 x 7 and the date was 3/76, 911 361 020 with AS 162 28139. I measured the offset on all the wheels and it was approximately 4.75 inches.
What am I missing here? It really looks like the RR wheel has a spacer behind it. Car has not been hit, is straight and zero alignment problems. Is there something weird about the 73 wheel, or could the body (RR quarter panel) be off that much from the factory? I just did a bare metal respray and there was no evidence of a replaced quarter panel.

My '84 has about 10mm (⅜") difference in the rear quarters. This does not seem to be that unusual, from what I've seen.

All oe Fuchs 7x15 have the same o/s, 23.3

Here are the relevant defs

ET(AKA offset) is backspace - .5 * overall width
everything has to be in mm

A typical 7" 911 Fuchs will have the following measures(rounded to the nearest .1mm
OA 193.7mm
BS 120.1

Assuming that all the wheels are oe and unmodified, it appears that the body is not centered on the wheels or perhaps just the one corner but that is not usual

It may not be usual, but I've seen it on several cars, not just my own. I've also seen it come up several times in questions here in the past couple of years.

Ok, thanks guys

Guess my chassis was built after a three beer lunch. It is very low, so we can move the rear up and then space out the left rear wheel to match the right. Just need to raise the body (lower the spring plate) enough so that with the negative camber, the arc of the suspension clears the fender lip. Hate to have to give up the 15 x 7s and go back to 15 x 6s.
