Threaded shift knob question
I have a B&M shift knob that I would like to replace with either a 917 style knob or a factory 915 style knob. This one threads on. Does anyone have experience with these knobs? Does the threaded section slip off? Here are a couple pics:

I'm still curious.. Right above the aftermarket ring... Is there a "bump"? As if the threaded section was "pressed" on?

So the threaded part comes off... I think it was glued on to the shaft. In the process, the threaded part broke, so it looks like I "really" need a shift knob now

How long was that threaded adapter?
Glad you figured it out! Good to know that those threaded sleeves are out there. Helps to fill in the blanks and what direction to take. Included in my library of 911 shifters. ![]()
