Help with electrical problems with CDI and delayed action relay
Hello
I have a 1978 turbo 930, I get no spark.... I checked voltage to the delayed action relay in the engine bay (silver box relay), I only get 12v to the pin from the alternator, the switched 12v, I cannot get voltage. This line feeds power to the CDI #15 pin. I pulled the delayed action relay off and tested on another car it's fine... Does anybody know what I am talking about, I cannot get power to the CDI box, from the relay, the relay has a brown wire (ground), white, red, 2 red/white, another one too. Where does the switched 12v come from, my wiring diagram I can figure out. Thanks in advance. |
Bump ...help

it has direct battery power at all times. key on power from the ignition switch via fuse 12. you can jump the relay plug itself with a short wire with spade terminals, bridging the two wires in the plug that are closest to the engine. remove the relay to do it. 30 to the L terminal.

Thanks John
